Room Tour 2.0!

Hello people! I redid my room, so of course, here's a tour!

Firstly, my storage unit, it's really similar to how it was before...

...and my heart garland hasn't moved at all.

This is the main reason I wanted to move things around, I got a new bed! It's so cool, but it was really tricky to fit it in with all my original furniture.

It has my new quilt on it, ...

...my artwork hung above it...

...and my stuffed toys at the end.

Now, on to this awkward little corner, it was difficult to find a purpose for a space this small, it's mostly unorganised stuff.

My mum let me frame some more of my art to decorate this space (and to distract from my trunk and luggage piled up).

Last but not least, my desk!

Things are all the same over here, except for the posters that got moved here from other parts of the room so I can look at them whilst working.

So that's it, my new room! I really like it!

Outfits of the Day

Hey hey hey! I started an Instagram (@hellofromheddy if you didn't know, wink, wink) a while ago and I've really enjoyed posting photos of what I'm wearing/going to wear, so I thought it might be a good idea to compile a week of outfits into a post. Let's get started!

MONDAY:

We all agree that Monday's suck, so I thought the best way to make them better was with a lovely comfy outfit, complete with a teddy so you can cuddle the Monday blues away!

TUESDAY:

 

A cute pink and blue outfit, with kitty ears!

WEDNESDAY:

By now, the week is in full swing, so this sophisticated outfit is perfect!

THURSDAY:

An outfit with a little more colour than yesterday because the weekend is on it's way.

FRIDAY:

So bright! The weekend is so close, so I'm celebrating with a happy yellow.

SATURDAY:

It's the weekend, here's an outfit just great for going to the movies or to a sleepover!

SUNDAY:

The end of the week, a wonderful time to take a walk in the park and reflect, or even to go on an quick adventure before Monday rolls 'round again!

Blogging in the Park.

Hey everyone! There are some updates and additions that I really wanted to add to the blog, but the weather had been so good recently, I didn't want to waste it!

So I grabbed my laptop...

...and headed to the nearby park to get to work!

Once outside, I knew I'd made the right choice, it was so beautiful out! I looked around and spotted a  lone bench just begging to be used...

...so I sat down and got right to it!

Homework With Olive

Hey peeps! Olive came over today to work on some homework. I thought it would be easier if we did it together!

She even brought her laptop with her to how me some helpful stuff she found, Olive is so organised!

Our homework was to each create a fact sheet on an animal of our choice, at first I was worried I wouldn't know how to start...

...but with the preparation Olive did, it was easy to get going straight away!

I made sure that we had lots of coloured pencils handy, I wanted our fact sheets to stand out on our classroom wall! (Did I mention that the best ones were going to go up on the classroom wall?)

I was right that having a friend to bounce ideas off of would make it easier, this way I could see what ideas would work (and what ones the world wasn't quite ready for yet!).

In what felt like no time at all, we were done!

I did mine about owls, making sure to use lots of bright colours to attract the eye, I even drew a little owl on the top!

Olive went for a different approach, she wanted to put loads of information on hers and make it really interesting. 

Olive said if they were giving out awards, my fact sheet would get one for the prettiest. I think hers would get an award for most facts! Anyway, I hope that ours get chosen to go on display!

A New Quilt!

Heyooo! How are you doing?

This morning my mum came in to my room and asked if I wanted to help her make something, so I of course said yes! I was a bit confused when she dumped a heap of fabric scraps on my floor though.

Turns out, she wanted to make me a new quilt for my bed! I was super happy to get a new one; I started to cut out squares straight away...

...and eventually I had a whole stack of them!

Mum came back in to check on me after a while, she was impressed with the progress I had made, so much so that she said that she had enough to make the whole thing. Yay! I waved my little squares goodbye and hoped for their speedy return.

Apparently it took quite a bit longer than I thought, as the next thing I knew I was waking up in my bed, but something wasn't quite right.

It was my new quilt! Mum must have come in to give it to me, only to find me fast asleep!

I just adore my new quilt, it's so warm! See you soon friends!
