Stories With Friends

Telling stories with good friends,
Bound to be fun with no end.
Spooky stories, curses, ghosts,
Rich families make a toast
To a group of brave young souls,
Who fought against the evil trolls.
Unicorns and creatures great,
"Girls, time to go home, it's late."
Our story isn't finished yet,
But there's no need to get upset.
Even though you have to go,
The tale continues, tomorrow.
Bye!

Home Again!

Hello! I'm back home again now, what a shame. When I walked into my room I suddenly noticed how tired I was.
Straight away I put my case down and leaned against my bed, glad to be home in spite of it all.
I thought Margo (who had tagged along in the car to keep me company) and her father had already left, so I was a bit startled when she came into my room.
"Forget something?" I asked, "For you" she said handing over a pink notepad with a Russian doll on the front.
"Wow... thank you!" I said a little flustered. Feeling bad for having nothing to give in return, I reached for my suitcase. "I have something for you too!"
I had intended to give her and Thea one of my iwako hamsters each (and keeping the last for myself), but at the last second I saw something at the bottom of my case.
I carefully emptied my case to get out the drawing I did of Margo and Thea. I had done it with some supplies I found in the study whilst Thea and Margo were busy doing their summer homework.
"I like it, it's pretty." Said Margo, looking at it and smiling.
Just then, her father called her and without a word she turned and left, leaving me alone, smiling at the weirdness that is Margo. I will definitely miss her.
I must have been more tired than I thought, as next I knew, I was waking up on my bedroom floor to the sound of my laptop's email notification noise.
I pulled it off my desk and onto the floor where I (though still groggy) was sitting.
There was an email from Thea, containing only a picture.
I smiled back at them on my laptop screen, I love my cousins so much!
Bye!

Outfits of The Day 3 (ft my Cousins!)

Heyyy! I thought it was about time for another outfit of the day post and seeing as I'm at my cousin's house, I thought I could get them to chime in too! I had already taken the photos, but they haven't seen them, so I thought I could share their reactions with you!

MONDAY:
Heddy: This is inspired by my friend Ottile, she's a bookworm and always dresses comfortable so-
Margo: Like a library woman.
Thea: I think she means it looks like a librarian's assistant or something, very cute.

TUESDAY:
H: So this is tuesda-
T: Heddy you really must stop wearing those shorts all the time, you'll wear them out!
H: But they're my favourite and SOOO comfy!
T: Yes but it wouldn't hurt to try something new, plus those things probably need a good wash, I read your blog you know, you're always wearing them. I'm surprised they don't smell!
M: Smelly shorts.

WEDNESDAY:
T: Did you make the sandwiches just for the picture?
H: Don't be silly!
T: well I hope you cleaned up properly...
H: THEA! it's supposed to be about the outfit.
T: I know, I know. I just hate crumbs!

THURSDAY:
T:Ooh! I like this one.
H: Yeah, it's a shift dress mum made me, I think it looks cool.
T: It's super retro, could do with some more accessories though.
M: Orange.
T: Orange is her favourite colour.

FRIDAY:
H: I like this one best! I think my friend Olive and I should wear it sometime.
T: It reminds me of when mummy would make Margo and I co-ordinate our clothes.
M: Black and yellow. Like bee sisters. Blugh!

SATURDAY:
T: This one isn't really very summer appropriate!
H: Sometimes it gets cold!
T: Hehehe, I guess so, must be nice to snuggle up in it on a cold weekend though.
H: Yeah! What did you think Margo?
M: Sunggly.

SUNDAY:
T: Trainers and a dress, how fitting for you.
H: Hardy Har. I like it, dresses are fun and trainers are practical.
T: I know, I'm just playing!
M: Pretty dress
H: I got it for Christmas!
M: Pretty Christmas dress.

Thanks for reading guys, these are even more fun to do when there are other people around, I'll see who else I can find to give their opinions! Byeee!

Sleeping Away From Home

There's something quite spectacular and magical, you know.
'Bout sleeping in a bed that just isn't quite your own.
The thrill of laying down your head on a foreign pillow.
Especially tonight, as I lie in my cousin's home.
"Why?" You ask as through the door appears some little toes.
'Cause I'm off to make a midnight snack with Marcus and Margo!
Bye.

Meeting Margo (and Marcus!)

Hey-ho people! I woke up this morning and looked around, Thea was gone!
I got up and looked around, there was no trace of her! Wherever she had gone, she had left me some clean clothes before she went (Thank goodness she's organised!) so I put them on.
I headed into the hall to see if I could find Thea, but as I did, I caught a glimpse of Juno in the doorway to another room.
Through the open door I saw the same girl as before, this time I had longer to look. I was sure it was Margo!
I walked in to say hello, but the moment she saw me she jumped up and moved herself as far away from me as she could, her eyes staring intensely at my face.
"Uhh, hello Margo." I said, a little startled "Remember me?" She didn't react at first but all of a sudden she strode over to me and hugged me tightly. "Heddy." She said purposefully.
Before I even got a chance to hug her back, she moved away and sat on her bed.
It felt a little awkward. Not knowing what to say, I motioned to her toys on the shelf. "These are very cool." I said attempting to start another conversation. "Mine." She said defensively.
"What about that monkey?" I asked "Is that yours too?" Her face softened, "Marcus." she said with a faint smile. I was relieved, I thought she didn't like me!
Margo slid off of her bed and onto the floor, pulling a box out of her shelving unit and opening it. There were lots of little animal figures inside. "Play?" she said, almost looking afraid of my answer.
"Of course!" I said grinning, happy that she didn't hate me after all.
Within minutes we were playing together, Margo was much more open and expressive when she was playing.
After some time had passed, Thea walked in, "I see you're met my moody little Margo!" she teased. Margo pulled a face and stuck out her tongue whilst Thea laughed.
I know I'm definitely going to love it here! Byeee!

My Cousin's House

Hello! After a rather long car ride filled with endless talking from Thea and lots of catching up, I've finally arrived here at my cousin's house. Once inside I followed Thea up to her room.
"Ta Daaa!" She said "Do you like my room?" I smiled to myself, it was obvious that Thea had matched her dress to her bedding, that was so her.
"It's so pretty" I replied.
Thea went on to talk about the colour scheme, but I didn't quite hear her as all of a sudden a golden furball appeared in the doorway...
...and bounded towards me, knocking me backwards onto Thea's bed!
"Juno!" Thea sternly shouted "Bad boy! You know you're not allowed on my bed!"
Once Juno had jumped down, I sat myself on the floor and gave him a hug, I hadn't seen him since he was practically newborn.
"I'll go and get your bedding." Said Thea walking out of the room purposefully. I looked around, she had some pretty things on a bookshelf next to her bed...
...as well as a fully packed timetable up on the wall...
...and some Polaroids hanging from a string above her bed.
Out of nowhere, Juno turned and bolted out of the room, pushing the door to the room across the hall to leave it slightly ajar. Through the gap I saw a small girl with dark blonde hair.
Before I could get a closer look, Thea walked in with arms full of pillows and blankets.
I helped her with the stuff and in return she helped me lay it all out so it was ready to sleep on.
I can't wait to spend some time with my cousins! Watch this space!
